The Sinclair House, the little inn in the pines
The Sinclair House is within walking distance to downtown Waynesville where you will find a multitude of antique shops, boutiques and restaurants. Be sure to stop in at the Friends Museum, just around the corner, where you will enjoy the history and artifacts of the Quaker lifestyle at the turn of the century. We are also within a short drive to the Little Miami River Bike Trail, Caesar Creek State Park, Ozone Zipline Adventures, River’s Edge Canoeing and Kayaking Adventures, Spring Valley Nature Preserve and the many Five Rivers Metro Parks Hiking Trails. King’s Island Amusement Park is less than a thirty minute drive away. Be sure to include a visit to National Museum of the United State Air Force and the Carillon Historical Park in Dayton.
If you wish to simply get away from it all, you will find the peaceful quiet here at the inn to be very restoring. Sip a cool beverage on the shady front porch where in summer you may spot our delightful little hummingbirds, or wander through the gardens. We have ample parking for your cars and boats, and you can store your bicycles in our garden shed overnight.
Kate Worley, the owner, is also an artist and and a scavenger. You will find many pieces of her art and that of other artists scattered about, both inside and out.
Please note: there are two indoor cats that live on the premises.
